THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Garment Technician to join a high-performing Product team. This role will suit someone who enjoys the technical side of garment development and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Working closely with Design, Production and offshore manufacturing partners, you'll play a key role in ensuring garments are developed to the highest standards of fit, quality and construction while supporting the product development process from concept through to production.

Day-to-Day

• Create detailed tech packs and garment specifications for offshore manufacturers.
• Manage product development administration throughout the critical path.
• Review garment measurements, construction details and specifications to ensure products are production ready.
• Participate in fit sessions and provide clear technical feedback to suppliers.
• Liaise with offshore factories, primarily in China, to resolve fit, construction and quality queries.
• Review development and production samples, ensuring consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
• Work closely with Design and Production teams to keep product development on schedule.
• Identify opportunities to improve garment quality, fit and production outcomes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We're looking for someone who brings strong technical apparel knowledge together with experience working in a high-volume fashion environment.

To be successful you will have:

• Previous experience as a Garment Technician or in a similar technical product development role.
• Proven experience working directly with manufacturers in China.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading and production processes.
• Experience producing detailed tech packs and technical specifications.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience within the fast fashion industry is desirable
