About the Role
You'll take ownership of your product category, developing and executing a strategic plan that maximises sales, margins, and customer engagement across all retail and digital touchpoints.
Working closely with the Head of Buying, Marketing, and key internal teams, you'll identify new opportunities, acquire new brands, and deliver ranges that align with the company's broader vision and customer profile.
Your day-to-day will include:
Managing category financials including revenue, GP%, inventory, and productivity.
Sourcing and launching new brands, ensuring strong commercial outcomes.
Partnering with suppliers to secure best cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Developing and implementing category strategies that drive long-term growth.
Analysing performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaborating with marketing and eCommerce teams to maximise product exposure.
About You
You're a commercially minded buyer or category manager with experience in the beauty industry with a strong retail instinct and a passion for driving results. You thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy balancing creativity with analytics to build strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
You'll bring:
Experience in category management, buying, or merchandising.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven success in driving sales and profitability.
Excellent negotiation, supplier relationship, and product sourcing skills.
Strong planning, analytical, and reporting capabilities.
A customer-first mindset and collaborative approach.
Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; familiarity with retail planning tools is a plus.
