As the brand continues to grow, an opportunity has come up for a Senior Designer with a background in women's apparel to join their team.

Career Overview

The client is looking for an experienced designer specialising in Women's Apparel with capabilities to execute seasonal garment designs that are consistent with the brand identity. You will be reporting to the Head of Design to communicate the concept direction and work alongside Production and Marketing to execute and campaign the garment designs. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide seasonal research on trends, silhouettes, fabric and garment details which are relevant to the brand
• Communicate fabric and accessories details to the Production Manager to enable execution of each design collection
• Assist the Brand Marketing Manager on campaign shoots
• Review previous sales reports each season to ensure garments are suited to key demographic

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has minimum 6 years' experience as a Designer or Senior Designer in a leading fashion brand
• Excellent knowledge of design and garment construction and fits
• Proven hand sketching skills as well as Photoshop, Illustrator skills or InDesign
• Well organised, have a high attention to detail with ability to ensure team can adhere to tight deadlines
