Accessories Designer / Developer

As part of this label's ongoing expansion they are looking for an experienced design/developer with trend forecasting experience to design sought-after, fashionable pieces within shoes & handbags

This opportunity requires a dedicated design/developer with vision to influence and positively impact the direction of this accessories brand. Your 'live and breathe fashion' approach to life will mean you are passionate about bringing trends to market fast!

Specific responsibilities will include:

:: Design and development of high fashion ranges

:: Maintain brand integrity and quality in-line with customer profile

:: Selection of required materials and fabrications

:: Research and interpret market trends

:: Development of strong relationships with key suppliers

:: Work closely with QC/ Merchandising teams regarding production and sampling

:: Overseas travel as required

:: Monitor sales reports relating to style, colour and fabrication

:: Mid-season and post-seasonal reviews

:: Timely production of PR samples

Your commitment to this youthful brand, through continual development of the expanding line of high quality accessories, will ensure achievement of required sales and appropriate brand positioning.

An design background and a understanding of fashion accessories is preferable though apparel candidates would also be considered if passionate about Accessories!
