Job description

The Role
You will work with our Operations Director and be involved in a variety of usual small office accounting procedures on MYOB and Excel software. This could include accounts payable, monthly payroll for 25 staff, bank reconciliation, coding of monthly expenditure, monthly P and L, quarterly GL reconciliations and preparation of the BAS statements. You will also liaise with our external accountants who do end of year accounts and tax return,
We envisage the role will require approx. 8 - 14 hours per week (our Operations Director can retain parts of the role if needed) which would probably see you in the office 1 or 2 days. We can also offer some flexibility in terms of which days, start and finish times and understand you may need to take additional leave during some of the school holidays.
Experience
Your background will have seen you do something similar, you will have strong MYOB experience, have a positive can-do attitude and place importance on quality and accuracy.
