Job description
Business Development Manager - NSW South
Our client is a specialised wholesaler in stationary & office supplies looking to recruit a NSW BDM to join their team. They are seeking a candidate with experience in all aspects of client relationship management, someone with a good understanding of client & market dynamics and requirements, who displays a high level of energy, initiative, drive and enthusiasm!
The successful candidate will manage sales activities for the NSW South territory, establish account plans with existing and new customer accounts to expand the customer base and achieve company and customer sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Financial
· Sales revenue to budget by customer and total territory
· Sales revenue to key promotions through the year
· Growth in customer ranging
· New business acquisition
· Expense spend to budget %
Customer Satisfaction
* Customer feedback trend
* Customer retention rate
* % new customer to existing growth %
* New products sales to existing customers % growth
Business Process
* Timely action on promotional campaigns as per the timetable
* Timely action on sales actions needed
* Complete reporting as directed
This position requires an applicant with the following skills
* Previous field or telephone sales experience
* Good level of business acumen and understanding of financial metrics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong planning and organisational skills
* A good level of computer literacy
* A valid driver's licence
* Willingness and ability to travel state-wide and nationally as directed
