Job description
Buyers Admin Assistant
Our client is one of Australia's leading fashion accessories businesses, interpreting trends for kids & womenswear.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Buyers Admin Assistant works closely with
The buying team, providing critical administrative support and assistance where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising & tracking of Purchase Orders
- Creation of SKUs and card numbers
- Updating Buyers WIP's,
- Communicating with both domestic & international suppliers and retailers
- Liaising with Buying, Planning, Shipping and Graphics Departments to ensure the Critical Path is maintained.
- Provide feedback of competitor activities and visit their stores regularly
This position requires an applicant with skills as follows:

- Strong work ethic teamed with a can-do attitude
- Highly motivated and organised self-starter with initiative
- Willingness to learn all facets of the Buying process from the bottom up
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Focused, hands on, and possess the ability to make things happen
- Adaptable and confident with strong communication skills
- Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Advantageous
- Previous retail/wholesale experience
- Administration experience
- Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop skills
- Tertiary study relating to Retail or Buying
