Our client, a successful high-volume fashion retailer with over 150 stores, is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to take the business forward to the next stage of development.

The Position reports to the CEO, is based in Sydney and is a newly created role to lead global marketing and ecommerce.

The CMO's objective is to drive business and promote products in disruptive ways. To change the scene in digital/social space by creating a fully connected omnichannel digital & retail experience, during the purchase journey and beyond. To come up with great ideas in social space, create a differentiated social commerce plan, and execute brilliantly in local and international markets. This person will set strategy, lead execution, oversee store look & feel, create a seamless omnichannel experience and launch click & collect services.

The successful candidate will have a record of achievement growing a global online business in a similar executive Marketing role, within a retail, FMCG or similar environment, where the focus was on delivering growth through managing financial metrics and P&L's.

Someone who has disrupted and scaled quickly for a successful brand, particularly in the UK and European markets. You will be a strong communicator, have an eye for detail, be analytical, and inspirational in your approach. Tertiary qualifications are preferred, as is a high work ethic, the ability to solve problems and the desire to make a real difference.
