About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Graphic Artist, specializing in product packaging design and image retouching.

As part of a team of designers, you will re touch images to be used for packaging, and create artwork using illustrator and photoshop for a wide range of products. You will need to be highly skilled in both photoshop / illustrator and confidently manage multiple projects autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation of labeling & packaging artwork & coordinate the production art in-line with branding guidelines
• Create garment care labels with the understanding of quality and legal labelling requirements - follow through approval process.
• Creatively work with the following illustrator & photoshop file formats to ensure the highest standard
• Tracking of labeling and packaging approval of products with customer
• Organize samples as required provide full administrative support to the sales team, ensuring that all admin is accurate and up to date.
• Effectively communicate with overseas offices
• Correspondence between the sales team and their clients
• Manage daily enquiries ensuring no email, phone call is unanswered and is dealt with the highest level of professionalism
• Courier and mail management work with multiple product categories
• Work in a team environment
• Attend to any ad hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will:

• Have a Graphic Design or relevant Tertiary qualification
• Have 2+ years' experience working as a graphic artist - with a focus on packaging design favorable
• Image retouching essential
• Have excellent competency in creative cloud suite
• Have a well-developed typographic and design aesthetic
• Be able to effectively manage artwork for different print processes
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a strong eye for detail
• Be an adaptive individual who flourishes in fast paced environments
