An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Inventory Analyst/Planner to join a Global Entertainment company located in the South Eastern Suburbs. Responsibilities of this role will include;

  • Co-ordinating and overseeing all aspects of the DC order planning and stock level management
  • Hong Kong production forecast maintenance, utilising Demantra
  • Managing stock allocations at warehouse and to retail in ERP System
  • Major retailer inventory flow, to schedule and promo matrix
  • Inventory delivery prioritisation and scheduling
  • Stock managing/forecasting key lines to ensure we are in stock
  • Stock meeting maintenance: raising PO enquiries, live updates to HK forecast, analysing current sales and suggest order quantities
  • Product maintenance within ERP system - JD Edwards;
  • Inventory management and maintenance; analysis of performance data and retailer inventory levels, to which you report to the senior team.
  • Demand planning and budget planning

To be considered for this role you will have;

  • A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry in an inventory function
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Superior analytical and numerical skills including retailer POS analysis
  • In depth knowledge of the inventory and distribution processes, as well as knowledge of effective warehousing
  • Strong computer literacy, excellent Excel knowledge and a good understanding of ERP systems, JD Edwards preferred
  • Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to implement improvements and initiatives in reducing levels of slow moving stock;
  • Exposure to demand planning, forecasting & management of domestic inventory
