Reporting to: Head of Design

Key Responsibilities:

As a Product Developer at the esteemed brand, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming ideas into high-quality, functional workwear. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration:Work closely with the Head of Design and cross-functional teams to bring design concepts to life. Engage in dynamic brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas and insights.
  • Product Development:Manage all aspects of the product development process, from initial design concepts to the final product ready for production. Ensure that designs meet safety standards, performance requirements, and align with the brand's aesthetic vision.
  • Quality Assurance (QA):Partner with the QA team to conduct thorough product testing and evaluations. Address any issues that may arise during the development process to ensure the products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Prototyping and Sampling:Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, working closely with manufacturers to refine and perfect the design. Act as a liaison between design and production teams to ensure a seamless transition from concept to reality.
  • Market Research:Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements in workwear and safety wear. Conduct market research to identify new materials, technologies, and processes that can enhance the product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Apparel Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product development within the apparel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in design software and project management tools.
