Quality Assurance Coordinator - Fashion

Our client is one of Australia's leading suppliers of innovative fashion apparel! They are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join their team!

You will be a highly organised individual, who will represent the Group and it's portfolio of brands in this Melbourne based position. The company has become an industry favourite among the largest department stores and independent fashion retailers across the country. They are seeking a candidate with a keen attention for detail, who displays strong negotiation, and communication skills. It is essential for the Quality Assurance Coordinator to demonstrate an excellent understanding of textiles and garment construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintain delivery dates
• On time and cost-effective delivery of goods
• Negotiations of rework
• Review goods at store level
• Analyse and implement procedures, maintain QSM standards

Preferred experience & qualifications for this position

• Tertiary qualification in fashion design or similar
• Experience in a wholesale apparel environment
• Experience managing offshore manufacturing including China & Bangladesh.
• Demonstrated experience in an apparel, footwear & equipment textiles management role.
• Knowledge of the Australian standards
