SENIOR BUYER


This National retail brand is looking to appoint a Senior Womenswear Buyer with Product Development experience to join their already well-entrenched team.

Key responsibilities include:
:: Prepare analysis/strategies for range developments identifying number of products, grouping, selling prices GP% and volumes required
:: Working in conjunction with the Retail General Manager to prepare detailed budgets establishing sales targets and GP%
:: Work with the Production Operations Manager to ensure product quality is maintained at a high standard and target prices are achieved
:: Quick identification and commercial translation of trends
:: Forecasting for each season and development of the range plan
:: Provide feedback of competitor activities and visit their stores regularly
:: Arrange product presentations to stores at major seasonal releases and/ or events as required
:: Manage delivery and supplier projections
:: Sales analysis
:: Set the image and quality standards for the brand
:: Oversee all window concepts working with the Brand Image Coordinator to produce dramatic, original and different displays related to positioning in the market place
:: Work closely with Visual Merchandisers, Brand Managers and Designers
:: Negotiation with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve best price
