DESIGN/ DEVELOPER

This is an exciting & varied role, working for this iconic international babywear brand .

The duties you are required to fulfill in this position range from design & product development to planning and trend forecasting; therefore it is essential you have superior customer relationship/ sales skills coupled with an innovative design background.

Working as the Senior Design/ Developer you will be required to create products that reflect and maintains customer handwriting whilst identifying current global innovations within the infant & babywear market and interpreting them for the customer as well as develop and maintain key standards of quality and fit.

It is very important you reflect the brands previous success whilst ensuring it is fashionable and commercially appealing to the Australian market. A background working within Babywear, soft toys, homeware & accessories would be essential as will a strong understanding of designing innovative & patentable product. An understanding of branding initiatives, budgetary and financial responsibilities will be complimentary to your design acumen.

Applicants must possess strong time management skills, a team playing mentality and a love of the whole design process. In addition, your design portfolio will be able to truly represent your style, taste and experience working on related product areas.

Experience dealing with overseas factories and an ability to be flexible on travel overseas is also beneficial.
