Job description

Our Client this Iconic Australian brand has grown significantly and is now ready for its next stage of global growth and expansion. As such, the business is seeking a talented, passionate, innovative, results-driven Visual Merchandiser .

Responsibilities of the Role

The Field VM will report directly to The National VM Manger and be responsible for:

  • Driving sales and revenue through the implementation of effective Visual Merchandising, ensuring new collections and best selling styles are well presented and featured in store
  • Monitoring the implementation of and adherence to VM Standards in stores through weekly auditing of store photos and checklists
  • Working closely with Regional and Store managers to ensure stock is moved in and out of stores in the most commercial way possible
  • Training and developing team members in all aspects of VM through weekly store visits and monthly VM Checklists
  • Increasing sales in stores by working with Regional and Store managers to provide our customer with a superior shopping experience
  • Implementing regular collection/ campaign launches across multiple sites, many requiring interstate travel
  • Assisting the VM Manager on new store openings, many requiring interstate travel
  • Assisting the VM Manager as required with the creation of rack layouts for all brands
  • Assisting the VM Manager with sample collection and management

The Ideal Candidate

  • A minimum 2 years' VM experience in a retail fashion environment
  • Proven ability to work to a strict deadline
  • Pro-active and able to show initiative to constantly improve the look and feel of the stores
  • Your own vehicle and valid driver's license
  • A willingness to travel locally and interstate, minimum 3 times a week
  • Tertiary VM qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Proficient in Photoshop & Indesign
