THE ROLE

This is a hands-on Practice Manager role suited to someone who enjoys being on-site, leading from the front, and taking ownership of day-to-day clinic operations. This role is patient facing and sits with the reception team on front desk.

You'll be the go-to person for staff, doctors, and patients - ensuring the clinic runs efficiently, feels welcoming, and is set up to grow. This is not a back-office-only role; it's ideal for someone who enjoys being visible, engaged, and involved in the rhythm of a busy clinic.

Day-to-Day

  • Overseeing front desk and daily clinic operations
  • Leading, supporting, and coordinating reception and nursing staff
  • Being present on reception when required to support patient flow
  • Managing rosters, leave, and staffing coverage
  • Building strong working relationships with doctors on site
  • Ensuring smooth patient experience, billing, and system use (Best Practice)
  • Managing stock, facilities, and general clinic organisation
  • Supporting growth as new doctors come on board

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience as a Practice Manager OR Practice Cordinator in a medical or healthcare setting
  • Strong working knowledge of Best Practice software (highly preferred)
  • Experience leading or coordinating reception and/or nursing teams
  • Confident managing day-to-day clinic operations, rosters, and patient flow
  • Comfortable being hands-on and visible in a busy clinic environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with doctors, staff, and patients
  • Organised, calm, and solutions-focused - able to juggle competing priorities without losing composure

SALARY

$80,000 - $85,000 base + Super
(depending on experience)
