Fantastic opportunity to develop and manage the unisex category of a leading worldwide trading company. They seek a highly motivated individual to undertake an Account Manager role within the Apparel division of their Australian Office.

Working as the Account Manager/Product Developer within this manufacturing company you will be required to create ranges that best reflect and maintain your customer's handwriting.

It is very important you utilize the brand's previous success with regards to best sellers and history whilst ensuring the product new, fashionable and commercially appealing to the customer profile. A background working with men's or women's apparel and or activewear will be essential as will a strong understanding of overseas trends and styling. An understanding of branding initiatives, budgetary and financial responsibilities will be complimentary to your design acumen.

A key component to this role is maintaining customer and supplier relationships. Utilising your well-honed sales skills coupled with a strong understanding of the activewear category and price pointed market you will be instrumental in growing the ranges and maintaining a strong fashionable profile across multiple target markets.

The ability to provide excellent product knowledge will see you effectively optimize buyer confidence; ensure best negotiation outcome; promote new styles and improve overseas sourcing.

A proven background in Design/Development and a strong Manufacturing awareness is key to your success as you will be dealing with major retail buyers on a regular basis. Applicants must possess strong time management skills, a team playing mentality and a love of the whole development process.

  • Adobe Suite skills for story boarding + strong Production & Process skills - Excel, Word - highly sort after.
  • Strong communication skills.
