Business Development Manager

Our Client is a Successful textile business with a passion for designing fashionable fabrics for the Australasian markets ensuring their customers can purchase the best value products with the highest quality service.

They are in an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on a new business category.

If you are an experienced and self-starter Business Development Manager ready scale adoption and revenue in the Australia market with a particular focus on the contract space. This is an exciting opportunity to own, define and execute an integrated customer business development strategy.

We are interested in talking to collaborative, passionate, accountable, and driven individuals who want to be part of an energetic and results driven team.

Requirements

  • Proven ability in building prospect lists - calling to make introductions
  • Ability to utilise and build social network, with an aim to securing new leads
  • Creatively build interest and secure opportunities with new prospects
  • A fundamental understanding of the sales process (marketing, prospecting, cold calling, sales cycle)
  • Someone who can open doors, is prepared to get stuck in and utilize the strengths the company to grow the business.
  • Knowledge of textiles is preferable but not vital, knowledge of the contract market, is vital
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of business
  • Excellent presentation skills both verbally and written
  • High energy and positive, can do attitude
  • Collaborative team player

You will have a consultative and customer focused approach to partner effectively with a prospective customer in identifying and understanding their needs. Crucial to this role is the ability to engage with influence and credibility across all stakeholder and client groups.

This exciting Business Development opportunity will play an essential part in achieving business growth targets by winning new key accounts.
