Job Description

Our client is an innovative homewares wholesaler looking to recruit a Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator!

As Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator you will be actively involved in all aspects of the business, from the website, digital marketing campaigns, photo shoots, ecommerce and beyond. You'll understand what it takes to produce great online content - from day-to-day dealings with the marketing/ design team to creating and editing copy. You will also ensure the brands are best promoted through not only our clients channels, but through strategic social media as well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage web content and product management ie. creating, developing and managing the online content - this includes shooting product, writing product descriptions and front end creative including banners

Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that product information is accurate, complete and up to date

Assist the team with organisation of campaign and online product photo shoots

Assist in management of content schedule across social media channels and EDMs

Stay up to date with current homewares trends

REQUIREMENTS

Ideally you will have a strong understanding of the online retail industry

Digital content experience at a professional level (minimum 1-2 years in a similar role).

Bachelor degree in Visual Communications, Marketing or Advertising desired

Experience working with email marketing software/apps & web CMS desired

Broad knowledge of web content development, email and social media

Firm understanding of social media strategy (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & Twitter)

Sound written English and verbal skills

Strong copy writing skills aimed at consumer engagement

The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment

Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - experience with photo editing tools (Photoshop) essential

Excellent organisational skills with a sharp focus on detail, accuracy and accountability

Passion for brainstorming, creation and out-of-the-box thinking

Enjoy working in a creative and fast-paced environment
