Fashion / Production Admin Assistant
We are currently seeking an experienced Administration Assistant for an Established Australian Womenswear brand based in Sydney. Our client creates high quality, and locally made Womenswear for a woman who appreciates luxury, ease and comfort. This role supports both the Product Development and Production team in an admin / all-rounder capacity. This role would suit a fashion graduate with an understanding of garment construction and some previous experience in an administration-based role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Raise & distribute all purchase orders to local makers
- Update and distribute delivery schedules to sales & dispatch teams daily
- Crosscheck make quantities weekly ensuring correct order qty's are being produced; liaise with the sales team regarding any order entry issues
- Approve all maker invoices, ensuring supplied quantities and sizes are correct
- Assist Production Manager with historical reporting
- Purchase & allocate all bulk & sampling trims (all accessories- zippers, buttons, fusing, swing tags, labels, stickers)
- Ensure all trims are purchased & allocated to local makers to meet production deadlines
- Manage ghost photography of all garments
- Maintain an up to date historical fabric library, ensuring all season bulk fabrics are labeled & archived
- Assist Development manager with day to day functions
- Order and oversee office stationery supplies
- Liaise with dispatch any identified areas of concern regarding QC & communicate these concerns with local makers
- Coordinate customer returns & repairs with makers & sales team
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Confident, bubbly and pro-active nature
- excellent organisational and communication skills
- understanding of garment construction and production
- Strong Administration skills
