Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Wholesale Assistant who is a self-motivated go-getter; Reporting to the Head of Sales, they will support internal wholesale operations and the sales order processes in various stages. Key areas for this role include administration support with system input and updates, assist in logistics with the physical packing and shipping of stock for local and international accounts, working both in head office and the off-site warehouse.

Role

  • Manage day to day operations supporting Head of Sales
  • Manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design, and Production
  • Manage daily review of shipments, orders, changes in distribution and deliveries for each account; secure and ensure timely fulfilment of all orders
  • Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
  • Responsible for the review, verification and reconciliation of shipping documents to stock
  • Responsible for preparing shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists
  • Maintaining and updating sales tools; contact lists/mapping for all existing customers and prospects
  • Cultivate new accounts and seek opportunities to expand business with existing accounts; identify and strategize means to penetrate new markets
  • Responsible for preparing all Sales collateral in collaboration with graphic design team
  • Manage sample inventory (proactive sample labelling and allocating for all trade shows, agents/distributors, buyer meetings and special events) and dispatch
  • Assist with tradeshows/showroom set up and sales
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Work with customers to ensure proper in-store execution
  • Partner with customers to communicate and execute brand positioning and key strategic initiatives for the brand
  • Support (retail) events, including pop-ups and trunk shows

Requirements

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Customer service/sales experiences
  • Proficiency in Data management tool knowledge
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast paced and dynamic team environment
  • Ability to multi-task effectively (crucial)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional time management and follow up skills
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Educated to degree level
