Global PR Manager

Our client is an Iconic Australian Accessories Brand and has a strong presence in the market locally & globally. The continues to develop a strong presence in the luxury goods market locally & globally. As such as we are building our team.

They are now looking to recruit a Global PR Manager role to create compelling regionally relevant stories for media, oversee the brand's media dashboard, liaise with a broad range of digital and artisanal titles, lead as their brand ambassador with the world's leading publishers and, of course, be the central point of contact for all their VIP connections.

Working with a small team of luxury creatives with exceptional global knowledge of the luxury sector, the role will appoint and oversee consultants and agencies to execute against the brand's ambitious expansion roadmap.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive the search process to secure the most suitable PR agents in agreed regions to align with brand and sales goals, including new audience and growth requirements
  • Maintain strong awareness of developments in digital media channels across global markets to ensure consideration by agencies and internal marketing team
  • Identify prospects for both feature (brand and directors) and product focused media coverage
  • Work collaboratively with media agencies to develop pitches, angles and stories to develop content opportunities
  • Support sales efforts through product-specific campaigns designed to drive purchasing
  • Work closely with CCD and Brand Director to facilitate bets practice PR plans in line with the brands overall Marketing strategy, incorporating global markets, retail partners and key brand initiatives
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the marketing calendar and its monthly 'creative' themes as a prompt and inspiration to create seasonal PR calendar
  • Oversee seasonal PR calendars aligned to the marketing calendar and agency plans
  • Create appropriate media assets including press releases and imagery briefs as required
  • Oversee PR plans /reports as required
  • Support and drive key retail partners locally and internationally to maximise PR & marketing opportunities via dedicated campaigns/ stories
  • Measure and evaluate the success of all campaigns by way of valuable and insightful input on all Campaign Review docs
  • Identify needs for brand positioning to ensure consistent brand
  • Ensure all work output harks back to strategy and the brand goals and is aligned with the brand's agreed strategic directions
  • Support all brand collaborations undertaken ensuring on brand and key PR opportunities realised

You will have:

  • A great reputation with editors and stylists in the fashion sector and currently working within a PR Management role either with a Retail, Fashion, Beauty or Luxury business or within a pr Agency.
  • Skills in digital and media dashboards as well as creative skills, using Adobe or Canva to create day to day assets as well as creative briefing experience to drive the process.
  • Relevant cross-functional experience and working with diverse departments and international partners.
  • Be forward-thinking, working on present-day strategy as well as preparing for the rapidly evolving future of retail.
  • Retail experience is preferred and a passion for luxury essential
