Job Description

Our client is an innovative homewares wholesaler looking to recruit a Junior Graphic Designer!

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to help support the team develop and expand their presence online. You will be actively involved in all creative aspects from the website, digital marketing campaigns, photo shoots, socials and beyond. You will understand what it takes to produce great online content - from day-to-day dealings with the design/marketing team to creating and editing copy. As a member of the digital marketing team, you will ensure the business' umbrella of brands are best promoted through not only their own channels, but through strategic social media as well.

Web content and product management ie. creating, developing, and managing the online content - this includes shooting product, writing product descriptions and front end creative including banners

Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that product information is accurate, complete and up to date

Assist the design/marketing team with organisation of campaign and online product photo shoots

Assist in management of content schedule across social media channels and EDMs

Stay up to date with current homeware trends


Ideally you will have a strong understanding of the online retail industry (experience in homewares is very desirable)

Graphic Design experience at a professional level (minimum 1-2 years in a similar role).

Qualifications in Visual Communications, Marketing or Advertising

Experience working with email marketing software/apps & web CMS

Broad knowledge of web content development, email and social media strategy

Sound written English and verbal skills

Strong copy writing skills aimed at consumer engagement

The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, working to deadlines

Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - experience with photo editing tools (Photoshop) is essential

Excellent organisational skills with a sharp focus on detail, accuracy and accountability

Passion for brainstorming, creation and out-of-the-box thinking

Enjoy working in a creative and fast-paced environment
