THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the Practice Manager plays a central role in the success of the clinic. You will lead by example on the front desk while coordinating operations, supporting your team, and ensuring excellent service delivery to patients and practitioners alike.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily operations and managing a team of up 10+ support staff across different days
Providing leadership and support to doctors, nurses, and reception staff
Coordinating rostering, scheduling, and room allocation for up to 10 doctors
Ensuring the smooth function of reception duties, billing, and patient queries
Collaborating with the support of HR, Finance, and Payroll functions for efficient business operations
Driving process improvements and maintaining high standards of patient care

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1+ year in a leadership role within a fast-paced medical or hospital setting
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Confident managing both people and processes in a hands-on environment
Comfortable in a front-facing reception role while leading the team
Exposure to general practice, specialist clinics, emergency, or health environments highly regarded
HOURS & SALARY
Full-time - 38 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Approximately $80,000 - $85,000 + Super (dependant on experience)
