Sydney based business, looking to establish themselves further in the SME fashion Melbourne market.

Looking to employ a confident, well connected sales/business manager who has experience within apparel - denim, sportswear or any commercial premium category that is created through a product development process.

Working within the division of an already established menswear business in Sydney and a handful of established Melbourne accounts, our client is now looking for an impressive candidate to further enhance their presence in the womenswear market in Melbourne.

Your role will be customer facing to expand and further develop current & future wholesale and retail customers, you'll be supported by an in-house design and technical team.

Building on their existing business including the ongoing enhancement of product offering within the area, this is a demanding & exciting role with plenty of scope to grow.

We require a sales process driven individual who can engage mid to top tier retailers/wholesalers and offer a proven and highly regarded design and production solution. Your extensive sales/product experience gained from within the womenswear space, either from an agency or a wholesale production house, will ensure consideration.

We are ideally looking for an individual who can directly understand the client's business and ad value by having an extensive understanding of the design and product development process with off shore suppliers:

  • Building key established relationships with stakeholders within SME
  • New account creation
  • Manage all commercial negotiations
  • Conducting brand analysis for all new opportunities to assess viability
  • Working with graphics department to assist with client and business presentations
  • Knowledge of product lead times, approval and pricing process
  • Current understanding of offshore vendors
