ACCOUNT MANAGER - HARDGOODS
A fantastic opportunity exists to develop and manage a category for a recognized manufacturer focusing on hard goods & homewares for the supermarket industry.
Working as the Account Manager within this well established international business with strong market presence, you will be required to identify & develop product and source hard goods / homewares for local and International brands.
It is important you utilize the companies' previous success with regards to best sellers & history whilst ensuring the product is commercially appealing to the Australian/Offshore market. A background working within hardgoods will be essential as will your recent experience dealing with international businesses on trends and styling.
An understanding of branding initiatives, budgets, margins and financial responsibilities will be complimentary to your commercial product development acumen.
Utilizing your well-honed sales & exceptional communication skills coupled with a technical understanding of the sourcing & development process ideally within promotional goods will be the key to your success.
Your ability to maintain client and supplier relationships, along with a proven background in account management is fundamental to your success as you will be dealing with buyers on a regular basis.
Applicants must possess effective range planning & strong time management skills, a team playing mentality and a love of the whole design process.
