As Senior Designer you will be the leading force in providing the creative vision and technical innovation for contemporary woman who love lingerie!

This iconic international lingerie brand prides itself on creating unique designs for women who embrace femininity.

As Senior Designer you will be the leading force in providing the creative vision and technical innovation, ensuring this label remains true to its design philosophy - offering women a balance between wearability and high fashion.

A proven ability to identify and interpret market trends while ensuring the brands design signature is maintained and developed. Collaborate on seasonal forecasting of colour, trend and fabric direction.

As a Senior Designer your aim will be to maintain the quality and craftsmanship the label has built it's reputation on by embracing the following tasks:
:: Continual development of the range - Constant monitoring of sales reports - for style, colour, styling and fabric.
:: Appropriate selection of fabrics to meet margins, delivery windows and quality standards
:: Identification and regular review of seasonal core lines
:: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
:: Liaise with QC and patternmakers on fit samples, sealers and production to ensure styles are at an acceptable standard before they go to buying
:: Research trips overseas and buying suitable garment samples with which to develop the range.
:: Sourcing and completion of import packs in line with critical path
:: Training evenings - twice a season to staff

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to offer a point of difference with your extensive design history.
Understanding the competitive nature of this market whilst continuing to design innovative merchandise is crucial to the ongoing success of this label.

To achieve this necessitates a good understanding of the companies customer, a clear view on fashion and upcoming trends (including colour and styling) as well as an ability to commercially select fabrics and design merchandise, working within the company's sourcing and manufacturing capabilities.
