Job Description

As Senior Production Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing of product across all categories to ensure quality, and on-time delivery.

Role / Responsibilities

Production

  • Manage critical paths and production schedules with suppliers
  • Manage and track all processes related to purchase order placement and management
  • Have in depth understanding of the product, materials and operational requirements to ensure that the product made is accurate, high quality and on time
  • Coordinate all relevant payments to be aligned to production schedule to ensure on-time delivery
  • Generate and maintain production assets- shipping schedules, purchase order and proforma invoice, vendor agreements etc.
  • Manage changes, priority changes, and clearly and effectively communicate with all parties along the way

Quality Control

  • Ensure all documentation is current, relevant and adhered to by suppliers- Standard Operating Procedures, Vendor Agreement and Product Operational Requirements, Quality Control Standards and others
  • Manage production quality control processes, including creating reports, training remote QCs, schedules and any issues that arise, and approving orders for shipment
  • Claim investigation management

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years + experience with offshore production
  • Previous experience with injection moulded and cut and sew products highly desirable
  • Extremely organised and strong attention to detail, with an ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Ability to keep a cool head and think clearly and effectively under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Proficiency in all MS Office programs, Excel in particular
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
