Job Description


  • East Coast Territory - North Sydney, North NSW, QLD and NT
  • Retailer with a combination of company owned and franchise stores
  • Utilize your multi-site management expertise to elevate store operations and grow business through all aspects of retail best practice
  • Circa $140k total

The role:

  • Newly created position due to restructure
  • Overseeing approximately 30 stores
  • Reporting to Store Operations Manager
  • Based in Western Sydney office with regular field visits
  • Great opportunity to grow the business by adding structure and lifting stores from a retail best practice perspective
  • New initiatives being rolled out this year, such as new ERP implementation and new online offering

To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a personal/empathetic approach to dealing with franchisees
  • Operational small business experience
  • Exposure to franchise systems and corporate business

Key Result Areas:

Financial Performance

  • Ensure Financial Performance of all stores in area of responsibility achieve set targets

Staffing Management

  • Manage the recruitment of all staff to stores
  • Ensure store staff are treated appropriately and fairly at all times
  • Ensure all staff training requirements are satisfied
  • Provide ongoing management of Store Managers


  • All stores to contain a relevant and continually updated program to ensure they are compliant with Work, Health & Safety
  • All stores to be compliant with corporate identity, category ranging and promotional programs
  • Drive improvement in inventory to ensure product categories are aligned to key suppliers and DC's

Improvement & Development

  • Promote a culture of continual improvement across all stores
  • Drive consistent marketing programs to both retail and trade customers
  • Manage performance of stores if not achieving budget

Field management coaching and monitoring

  • Create and manage a call cycle for both company owned and franchise stores
  • Manage the monitoring and tracking of compliance to the program for franchise stores
  • Manage the monitoring and tracking of Corporate Identity compliance for franchise stores
  • Manage the support, promotion and monitoring of all Marketing activities ensuring maximised opportunities
  • Manage program to assist with site re-development
  • Be proactive regarding succession planning
  • Actively promote the business within the industry and general marketplace

Franchise Recruitment

  • Recruit new partners through a defined recruitment process
  • Facilitation of the recruitment application process in conjunction with the Store Operations Manager
  • Proposals for all new partners to be prepared for Store Operations Manager


  • Active participation as member of the leadership team
  • Regular work in progress meetings with MD
  • Major event participation
