THE ROLE

This is a great opportunity for a current Practice Manager, Senior Medical Receptionist, or 2IC ready to step into a leadership role. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, lead a small team, and work closely with doctors, nurses, and receptionists to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and continues to deliver exceptional patient care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing clinic operations and supporting 2-3 doctors onsite daily
  • Leading reception functions and working alongside part-time nurses
  • Handling staff rostering, culture, and daily issue resolution
  • Maintaining a positive workplace environment and strong relationships with doctors
  • Taking initiative to grow patient numbers, especially during quieter winter months
  • Contributing ideas for improving efficiency and patient experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role - Practice Manager, Senior Receptionist, or 2IC
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and medical software (can be trained if needed)
  • Certificate IV in Practice Management, Frontline Management, or Business Admin preferred (not essential)
  • A mature, friendly, and team-first approach with a desire to grow with the clinic

SALARY

Approximately $70,000 - $80,000 base + Super (depending on experience)
